Simba Chips are a popular brand of potato chips in South Africa. The company was started by Greyvensteyn family, who first invented Ouma Rusks, and after the success of the Ouma Rusks, they diversified their snacks and entered the potato chip business. The story goes that this decision was influenced after Leon Greyvensteyn met the Herman Lay - the co-founder of Frito-Lays.
